Day-Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Chandigarh / Shimla → Yulla Khas Village

Distance: ~320 km (Chandigarh) / ~210 km (Shimla)
Travel Time: 7–9 hours

In early morning (7-9am) your journey begins with a scenic drive towards Kinnaur District, known for its untouched beauty and rich culture.

Highlights:

  • Drive through the beautiful hill city of Shimla, with mesmerizing views of Narkanda valley and the Satluj River
  • Pass through charming mountain towns and apple orchards
  • Gradual transition into high-altitude Himalayan terrain

Arrival at Yulla Khas Village:

  • Altitude: ~2,985 m
  • A peaceful traditional Kinnauri village

Stay:

  • Homestay / Camps
  • Dense forests of pine, oak, and deodar
  • In morning we will start our trek towards yulla base camp on 10AM by seeing a lush green forest.

Duration: 5–6 hours

The best time to visit Yulla Kanda Trek is from April to December when the weather remains pleasant, the trails are accessible, and the alpine meadows are at their scenic best.

  • No refund will be provided if a participant leaves or is returned from the trek midway.
  • If the trek extends due to weather or road conditions, additional charges of ₹2,000 per person per day will apply.
  • Full payment must be completed before the start of the trek.
  • Personal accommodation expenses after the completion of the trek must be borne by the participant.
